SEPT 11: WAW- Fratelli Italian Wine Dinners: Focus on Sicily
Journey to the sun-drenched island of Sicily for an evening of wine, food, and discovery. This immersive wine class will explore the rich flavors, diverse regions, and centuries-old traditions that make Sicilian wine so distinctive.
Throughout the evening, you’ll enjoy four exceptional Sicilian wines, each thoughtfully paired with a four-course menu inspired by the island’s cuisine. As you taste, you’ll learn how Sicily’s unique volcanic soils, Mediterranean climate, and varied landscapes influence the character of its wines.
We’ll travel through Sicily’s renowned wine regions while discovering the families and generations of winemakers behind each bottle. Learn the stories, traditions, and winemaking philosophies that have shaped these distinctive wines—and gain practical tips for understanding, tasting, and pairing Sicilian wine with food. All participants will receive a special meal prepared by Chef Pete Cannella paired with four wines. Participants are expected to tip their server in addition to class cost. Class is held at Fratelli Ristorante: 8612 South 1300 East Sandy, UT from 6:30- 8:30pm.
