OCT 20- PWD: Wines of Puglia
Join us for an exploration of Puglia, the sun-drenched region that stretches along the heel of Italy’s boot. Known for its ancient vineyards, warm Mediterranean climate, and deeply rooted food and wine traditions, Puglia is home to some of Italy’s most distinctive and exciting wines.
This engaging wine class will take you on a journey through the major wine-growing areas of Puglia, exploring the region’s indigenous grape varieties, unique terroirs, and traditional winemaking practices. We’ll taste a selection of Puglian wines while learning about the families and producers who have carried these winemaking traditions from generation to generation. Class will include a four-course plant-based dinner prepared by Chef Tyler of Tylercooks. Class will be held at a private residence, 7979 Grand Vista Way, Cottonwood Heights, from 6:30-8:30pm.
