NOV 17- PWD: Ageable Crus of Beaujolais
Discover the age-worthy side of Beaujolais in this immersive wine class focused on the region’s celebrated Crus. While Beaujolais is often associated with youthful, fruit-forward wines, many of its Crus have remarkable structure, complexity, and the ability to evolve beautifully with time.
Throughout the class, we’ll explore several of the Crus of Beaujolais, learning how differences in terroir, soil, elevation, winemaking, and vintage influence their character and aging potential. We’ll also introduce the families and producers behind these wines, offering insight into their traditions, philosophies, and approaches to crafting wines that can develop beautifully in the bottle.
Guests will taste a selection of age-worthy Beaujolais Crus while learning what makes these wines compelling both in their youth and as they mature. This is an opportunity to explore a fascinating side of Beaujolais and gain a deeper appreciation for the region’s diversity, history, and exceptional producers.
Dining: All class participants are required to purchase a meal of their choosing from the regular menu. Your meal is separate from the wine class and allows you to enjoy dinner alongside the tasting experience.
