NOV 8- Ecole Dijon Beautiful Beaujolais
Join Sheral Schowe for an immersive wine and food experience exploring the Village-level and Cru Beaujolais. This class will take you beyond the familiar image of Beaujolais Nouveau to discover the depth, character, and age-worthiness found throughout the region.
The evening will feature four courses prepared by Chef Drew, each thoughtfully paired with four wines from Beaujolais. As you taste, Sheral will guide you through the geography and history of the region, the distinction between Village-level and Cru Beaujolais, and the unique personalities of the individual crus.
The class will also explore the families and producers behind these wines, offering insight into the traditions, vineyards, and philosophies that shape some of Beaujolais’ most compelling bottles. From the lighter, expressive character of Village wines to the structure, complexity, and aging potential of the Crus, this will be an opportunity to experience the remarkable diversity of Gamay and the terroir of Beaujolais.
